Why Parmesan Crusted Lamb Chops Work
Perfect Flavor Balance: The rich, tender lamb pairs beautifully with the salty, nutty flavor of Parmesan, while the breadcrumbs and herbs add depth and aroma.
Crispy Texture Contrast: The golden, crunchy crust complements the juicy, tender meat, creating a satisfying contrast in every bite.
Quick and Easy Preparation: With minimal prep and simple ingredients, this recipe delivers gourmet results without the fuss.
Versatile Crowd-Pleaser: Whether for a fancy dinner party or a casual family meal, these chops are elegant yet approachable, making them perfect for any occasion.
Ingredients:
- 6 lamb chops
- 1 tablespoon steak seasoning(salt & pepper will work as well)
- ½ cup grated parmesan cheese
- ¼ cup panko bread crumb
- ¼ cup melted butter
- 1 teaspoon hot sauce
- 2 tablespoon of mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon chopped parsley(dried parsley will work as well)
- Fresh chopped chives for garnish

Prep
Season the Lamb Chops: To start, generously season your lamb chops on both sides with steak seasoning. This adds a bold, savory base to enhance the natural flavor of the meat.(I recommend not going to heavy because the parmesan crust will have salt in it)

Prepare the Parmesan Crust Mixture: In a mixing bowl, combine breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, hot sauce, mayonnaise, and freshly chopped parsley. Then, gradually mix in melted butter until the mixture forms a thick, spreadable paste. This rich blend will create the perfect golden crust.

Cooking Process
Sear the Lamb Chops: Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add olive oil. Once hot, press the lamb chops firmly into the skillet to ensure excellent surface contact for a beautiful sear. Let them cook undisturbed for 90 seconds before flipping.

Monitor the Internal Temperature: Cook until the lamb chops reach an internal temperature of 128°F (53°C). At this point, transfer them to an elevated wire rack to rest and prepare for the next step.
Parmesan Mixture: While the lamb chops rest, place a generous spoonful of the Parmesan mixture on top of each chop.

Broil: Place the chops under the broiler and watch closely, letting them broil until the cheese topping turns golden brown and bubbly.
Rest and Garnish: Remove the lamb chops from the oven and transfer them to a serving plate. Let them rest for 5–10 minutes to allow the juices to redistribute. Finally, garnish with fresh, chopped chives for a pop of color and flavor.
Serve and Enjoy: These Parmesan Crusted Lamb Chops are a show-stopping dish that’s as flavorful as it is easy to prepare. Perfect for special occasions or a quick yet impressive dinner
